I was elected to Cairns Regional Council in 2008 to represent Division 3, including Mount Sheridan, White Rock and parts of Woree and Bayview.

Born in Gordonvale, raised in Edmonton, I am a local. I worked in various professions until breaking my neck in 1991, when I decided to embark on study, so I could re-enter the work force. I then completed a Bachelor of Arts in History and Politics at JCU and a Law Degree at QUT. After this I volunteered for a number of community groups before gaining employment at JCU in 2001 and being elected to Cairns Regional Council in 2008.
