My channel's primary focus is on music, and it's special emotional pull at our heart strings in a cinematic vessel upon delivery. Not all the videos strive at that specific conclusion, and that is when the music itself gives the image in a movie inside your head. At least I hope our imaginations haven't been too destroyed by our passive society and it's God: T.V.
About Me:
Hometown:
Boulder, CO
Country:
United States
Occupation:
Art, and other essential ways of living...
Schools:
Received my bachelor of arts degree at Western State College in Gunnison, CO on the western slope of the great rocky mounains. Studied acting at Mark Jenkins Actor Workshop in Seattle, Washington.
Interests:
1) Mountain biking through the streets or trails or wherever I am pedaling about at a particular moment. Of course, my headphones (escorted by my I-pod) salivate the soundtrack on such journeys. What a great way to ride a bike! 2) Spinning music (dj style, either at home or at KGNU 88.5fm out of Boulder, CO (kgnu.org). 3) Playing mandolin. 4) Drawing and painting expressionistic-style art (need a show for my work...). 5) Swimming (when I can) in the churches that were not built by hand-not built by man. In other words, rivers, lakes and ponds will do the trick.
Movies:
Carrie, Being There, Who's Afraid Of Virginia Woolfe, The Straight Story (David Lynche/Disney (yep that's right)), Donnie Darko, The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, The Tree of Life
Music:
Ya know, bands like: The Waterboys, The Walkabouts, Giant Sand, The Charlatans, DJ Sasha, Mojave 3, Slowdive, Spiritualized, Broken Bells, Lucinda Williams, The Pretenders, T Bone Burnett, World Party, Fleetwood Mac, Moby, Dub Syndicate, Arcade Fire, Pinback, David Byrne, The Fall, Yo La Tengo, Thin White Rope, Talk Talk, The The, Mu'm, Beck, Sonic Youth, Revolting Cocks, Abba, New Model Army, Velvet Underground, Thievery Corporation, Biran Eno, Low, Stereolab, Gang of Four, Devotchka, XTC, Yonderboi', The Silos, Peter Gabriel, Neil Young and Crazy Horse, Dandy Warhols, Radiohead, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, Ride, Love Battery, The Cure, Richard Thompson, The Replacements, Camper Van Beethoven, MGMT, Blur, Tom Tom Club, Gorillaz,...to name a few. Just see my favorites, and you may get an even broader sense of my diverse taste in pop music.
Books:
The Picture of Dorian Grey by Oscar Wilde, Leaves of Grass by Walt Whitman, and No Exit by Jean Paul Sartre. Just to name a few writers of the arts: poetry, plays, and prose. Anything by playwright Eugene O'Neil is always a delight and an amusing treat to read and perform.

"I fucking love this band. I love to play them really loud, lay down, and clear my thoughts and float off into whatever world is being conjured up ..."
