If you look at the large fuel tanks at the wing tip. With all that weight and the wings flex, brother it needs them!!! Whats amazing is the main wheels. This jet can take off SIDE WAYS in a cross wind!!!

That's amazing! Electric motors? I may change my old R/C over to all electric. Just can not find anyone with the old fuel.

This maybe a dumb question but, can you inter change the 22 cal with a 45 cal?? My Mk II is still somewhat new, I can not remove the barrow from the lower. I'm tempted to use a rubber/plastic hammer. But want to check first before I damage it. Reassembly takes lots of shacking to get it back...

@aviationwingnut I said the same years ago when I first saw this movie. The C-5 Galaxy does the same thing with it's main gear. It helps both A/C on cross wind takeoffs or landings!

Is the wind tip missing? I first saw this A/C at an air show when I lived in Oklahoma City, OK. While at Tinker AFB we got a B-50 weather version of the B-29. It's not a flying a/c just parked out front with others. This was back in 1986.

This is the BEST copy I've ever seen!! I'd use to watch it every Thanks Giving since the 1960's. My Father was a Projectionist, and he had it once. But it was black & white and missing parts due to spicing.
