Year of production: 1967. Later, this song inspired the Theme for Matt Groening's "Futurama".
WIKIPEDIA (EN): Pierre Henry (born December 9, 1927 in Paris, France) is a French composer, considered a pioneer of the musique concrète genre of electronic music.
Between 1949 and 1958, Henry worked at the Club d'Essai studio at RTF, founded by Pierre Schaeffer. During this period, he wrote the 1950 piece Symphonie pour un homme seul, in cooperation with Schaeffer; he also composed the first musique concrète to appear in a commercial film, the 1952 short film Astrologie ou le miroir de la vie. Henry has scored numerous additional films and ballets. Among Henry's best known works is the experimental 1967 album Messe pour le temps présent, one of several cooperations with choreographer Maurice Béjart featuring the popular track "Psyché Rock." In 1970 Henry collaborated with British rock band Spooky Tooth on the album Ceremony.
One of Henry's best-known influences on contemporary popular culture is to the theme song of the TV series Futurama. The tune is inspired by Henry's 1967 composition "Psyché Rock."

Alas, the best laid plans of mice and men (and other barnyard animals) often go astray.
------------------------------------------ Until YouTube decides to keep my 'uploader comments' on the front page for more than an hour, here's some answers to the most frequently asked questions:
1.) Oh, so you're a brony?!?! ~ Actually, no. While I don't think the show is that bad, I don't think it's that great either. I made this merely because I got the idea and figured I'd animate it before the whole MLP fad died out (I have a terrible knack for missing fads).
2.) What did you use to animate this, and how long did it take? ~ Anime Studio Debut 7, a cheap, outdated, simple-to-use animation program. No, this was not made in Flash. This particular cartoon took me 2 1/2 months to make. I totally underestimated how miserable those freaking donkeys would be to animate. I cannot emphasize how much of a nightmare this was to make.
3.) Will you make more of these? ~ Maybe, maybe not. My lack of interest in the show coupled with the miserable process I had to go through to make this one really turns me off to making another. For a while, at least.
4.) You messed up ___________________! ~ Most likely because I'm so clueless about the show. Seriously, if I knew so many people would freak out over such minor details (i.e. leaving a decal off of a butt you only see for 0.5 seconds) I probably would've paid closer attention to it.
5.) Was this the cartoon referenced in the White House painting in your "Battlefield 4 Trailer" video? ~ Yes. Now can everyone please stop pointing it out?
6.) Farmer Brown can't shoot Rainbow Dash because she lives in a cloud. ~ It's called a "punt gun", and I was originally going to address that. Then I realized that may have been going a bit too far, so I scrapped it.
7.) Why is Pinkie Pie's left eye messed up (upside down)? ~ Well hell, I was wondering the same thing after I uploaded this. Then I realized it; in the picture I used as a reference to draw her, her left eye was half closed, thus the shine was showing up at the bottom. I didn't even consider it as I proceeded to draw her with both eyes wide open. Seriously, I'm going to be kicking myself for years over that now. Not so much for the fact that I should've known better, but over the fact that I didn't even realize it over the course of two and a half months.
