I am currently engaged in a social experiment of my own design intended to place me in a mainstream social order (i.e., youtube) without the key mainstream advantage (i.e,. I don't have any videos).
It's a personal journey and exploration that I am on to better understand my own human nature in relation to the larger world I interact with. What happens when those mainstream advantages that many of us take for granted, are not so readily available? What happens to our perceptions, our self-esteem, our ability to interact and connect with others when the advantages are within reach, but closed off to us? I am using this experience as a journaling technique, so far with mixed results.
When my journey is complete, I plan to report my findings - in video. In the meantime, I remain a solitary voice, constructed entirely of text, and YOUR friend in Text-Land(TM)...
