Rising Light Entertainment, (RLE) started on the campus of Clark Atlanta University, in August 2005. It was Brandon Gardner (CEO, & Co-Director) who envisioned Rising Light Entertainment as an up and coming production company headed by two young, ambitious, and eager African-American filmmakers. (Brandon Gardner & Jihad "JZ" Ziyad). As they continue to conceptualize on ever growing ideas, they hope to make their mark in the world of entertainment, by producing films, short comedy cuts, music video spoofs, etc, that will tickle, and tease, in both a comical and intellectual way. Brandon and Jihad "JZ" Ziyad, at the current age of 22 have worked on major productions and also alongside some of the biggest and most respected filmmakers, actors, comedians, etc. in the industry; Tyler Perry, Rainforest Films' Will Packer and Rob Hardy, Roger Bobb, Ruben Canon, Diane Ashford, Crystal "Clear" Roberson, Jamie Foxx, Comedian extraordinaries Wil Sylvince and JJ, Chris Brown, and many others.
