"On Friday, June 13, NBC Washington Bureau Chief Tim Russert died. Russert, 58, had hosted "Meet the Press" since December 1991 and was with NBC News since 1984. In 2008, Time Magazine named him one of the 100 most influential people in the world."
Quote from Newsvine.com
Tim Russert was one of my favorite newsmen of this generation. A journalist with class, yet humble as his early years had shaped him to be. Hard-hitting but fair in asking the tough questions in an interview. Friendly and personable with that big grin, but he could also give that disarming gaze that said "Tell me the truth."
A zest for politics, for news, for people, for LIFE. Rest in Peace, Tim Russert. You are missed.

Thanks everyone for your comments. I believe of the things I have done on YouTube in the past year, this channel dedicated to Tim Russert has had the most impact on me personally along side my channels focusing on drunk driving and the tragedy that can and does result (youtube/ncproud2 and youtube/ncproud- focusing on the drunk driving accident of Winston-Salem news anchor Tolly Carr and dedicated to Casey Bokhoven, age 26 who was killed in that incident 3-11-2007).
