A former Jehovah's Witness speaks on subjects such as cult awareness and life in the Watchtower organization.

I was raised as a Jehovah's Witness and spent my entire young life as a devout follower in the sect before leaving of my own free will, after extensive research and careful consideration of my beliefs. I want to raise public awareness and help others whose lives have been impacted by this and many similar high-control groups, or those who are considering studying with the Jehovah's Witnesses.

My desire is not to push any replacement belief system or religion. Rather, I wish to help others free themselves from the tight grasp imposed on the mind by some religious groups, allowing them to critically examine the evidence and their beliefs for themselves, and provide positive support and resources during the often difficult exit process.
