I'm not a huge fan of alot of his popular works because I find that whole tortured blue collar artist/poet thing to be annoying, but when he does old time styled music like this he is quite good.

heart, soul, feelings, having an attention span, patience to learn an instrument and thinking outside of the box is what required to make good music. Sadly, no one under the age of 40 these days has any of these qualities and kids drive the music industry. Oh well.

I like the Beach Boys. I like Blind Gaurdian. The two don't mix well at all. They ruin the song and come across as a bad 80s metal band like poison just selling out... the lil richard part was even worse

Well if you listen closely to most metal music, bluegrass is the closest form of older music that matches it. Put some distortion on those banjo and guitar rolls and switch the drumbeat a lil bit and you got metal instead of bluegrass lol

Why do people argue about music? Liking something or hating something doesn't make you cool or some music snob expert. If you hate it but listen to it and make fun of people who like a certain person or song it just makes you a jerk. If you like it then jam to it if you don't then change the stat...
