We are redefining music instruction through a Jazz lens...
The RYJG offers the highest quality music instruction for youth ages 9-18. Recognizing the lack of opportunity among many area youth to play in school jazz ensembles, the RYJG offers affordable weekly music instruction: big band workshop, jazz ensemble workshop, advanced jazz studies, sectionals, performances and master classes. Our method of instruction places emphasis on performing, rehearsing and jamming with others. Students enjoy a community of musicians while finding new inspiration in their instruments. With the RYJG learning model, each student stands a greater chance of remaining motivated and enthusiastic about music performance and practice.
