RICHENEL WEER KLAAR VOOR OPTREDENS
Na 9.131 dagen maakt Richenel een comeback met het nummer waarmee het allemaal voor hem is begonnen. Richenel verwierf Internationale faam met zijn nummer 'Dance Around the World' waarmee hij in 1987 internationaal de hitlijsten bestormde. In datzelfde jaar scoorde hij ook nog een grote hit met 'Temptation'. In 5 jaar tijd kwam hij maar liefst tot zes internationale noteringen. De laatste jaren is Richenel actief geweest met Dance- en Loungeprojecten en heeft vooral naam gemaakt als jazzzanger. In 2008 stond hij nog in de Europese Dance Charts samen met de The Base Boys met het nummer Base 80's. Nu keert Richenel weer terug naar de tijd waarin zijn succes begon. Dit doet hij met een heruitgave van 'Dance Around the World', zowel in een 2011 versie, als in een veelbesproken akoestische versie. Dit nummer is ook gebruikt voor de leader van de jeugdserie "The real body language" op Rtl5.
Zijn eerste optredens zijn inmiddels met veel enthousiasme ontvangen en zijn fans weten hem weer te vinden! Zijn shows zijn een mix van vrouwelijke 'élégance' tot aan een mannelijke stoerheid.
Het repertoire van de 30 minuten durende powershow bestaat uit een uitgebalanceerde mix van eigen hit songs, soul covers en remakes van bekende hits.
