I personnaly think all of you are thinking way too much.. This song, this band and this lead singer just-----freakin' rock..!! If you don't feel her pain of the relationship thru her singing----well, you "just don't get it"...

Their music and her voice-----how can you not feel it or---not get it...

In my own opinion----I like his blues guitar much more than Stevie Ray Vaughn's..And his vocals----he's a "Male Janis Joplin"---Excellent..

He's "Hall of Fame" material..
