Richard started to learn playing piano in August 2009 when he was seven and a half years old. His teacher is Ms. Xiao. In a few months, Richard fell in love with piano music and has been indulged in playing piano since then. He practices hard and is advancing rapidly. Richard has won medals, trophies and scholarships in several music festivals in Vancouver. In August 2011, Richard received a mark of 92 at his RCM Grade 8 piano practice exam.
