Impossible to compare this version of "For Richard" to the orginal played in 1969, owing to different instruments, especially keyboards section. Then there was a synth and a sturdy mellotron, instruments appearing in the line up of many prog rock bands of early 70's. Anyway, vocals are the same.

Probably Caravan at their very best, I think....The whole album is superior quality, surely one of the best results of that particular jazz/rock from Canterbury. Useless to remember Soft Machine first and second albums.

Great band, Caravan!!! But not on these tracks.....not so great anyway as in ttheir three previous albums, before Dave Sinclair left. I think they were one of best british bands, with a remarkable personality, originating mostly from their mixed jazz rock roots in Canterbury scene

Sicuramente "Senso" è meglio di questo incerto e rabberciato film di Martone. Almeno quello era una vera opera d'arte cinematografica. Quanto ai contenuti, beh, anche qua Visconti fu superiore, in quanto l'arte è sempre evocativa, mai descrittiva.
