The 606 didn't have hand clap. The boss was it little more smoother on the high end. The 606 high end was very sharp and unpleasant. Im not judging from the video but from a personal experience working with both units.

I performed in a concert back in 1987 with the rap act called "Cash Money and Marvelous". And Dj Cash Money was using the studio 440. At the time I was producing beats on a sp1200. I was only 16 years old and I was like "what the heck is that!". The studio 440 really rocked the crowd!
