The 606 didn't have hand clap. The boss was it little more smoother on the high end. The 606 high end was very sharp and unpleasant. Im not judging from the video but from a personal experience working with both units.

Yeah, the drum sounds sounded a bit cheesy. But actually it sounded much better live. Back in the mid 80's, around 1985 this unit was considered a poor man's Roland Tr-606. It was great for Hip Hop during that time and sounded pretty good when mixed properly
