I begin battling my weight in my 20's and it has been up hill since then. I have decided to have the gastric bypass surgery after researching it and lap band for a couple of years. I currently weigh about 277 lbs and I am 5'3, I wear about a size18/ 20 probably need a 22 but I refused to buy it.....lol. I have been blessed by so many of the videos that have been uploaded and I hope someone is one day blessed by my journey.

Recently, I have been approved by the insurance company and have received my surgery date. I will be having surgery on Wednesday, April 8, 2009.. I am super excited about the possibilities ahead of me and can't wait. Please keep me in your prayers.
