I love the bit where he says (sings), "I'm with ya, I'm ready" to the band, and they go into the next bit. Rehearse, rehearse and rehearse, and then do something spontaneous. We will not see the like of him again.

They did it secretly at Monaco, did they? Great place to test a car you've never driven in secret. I shouldn't think anyone would be watching.

My favourite bit in this song is when John says, "Beginning bit". Presumably for Billy Preston's benefit.

It just shows what a dreadful time the 80s was for music that Brian clearly couldn't convince the rest of the band to put this on The Works. It sounds much better than Hammer To Fall or Tear It Up studio versions too.

Still, we got to hear it as a B-Side at least.

Rewatching this for the 1000th time and trying to *see* it for the first time again - to separate what I'm seeing from the familiarity of it.

When you consider that the crowd is not a Queen audience, but just that of a general rock festival (albeit one with a true purpose), it really brings home...

Someone may have already made this comment - sorry if they have - but I'm positive I read in It Crawled From The South that the kid who asks about lyrics at the end of this clip is one of the Beastie Boys. Can't remember which one, though.

Axl ruined everything he touched that day. It is a real shame that this concert happened to clash with Guns N' Roses 10 minute career.
