Reverb is an independent band from New York. They formed in the summer of 2009. They Started out covering Motley Crue songs but that didn't work out to well. After kicking out there original lead guitarist due to creative differences, they didn't know what to with themselves so they just started jamming all day and playing around with the settings on the amps. Out of this, they got a psychedelic and jazzy sound which became an instant hit during there first gig. There is a basic chord progression to all there songs but each individual note played is completely improvisational. During this time there was just a bassist, guitarist, and drummer. But the band felt like the sound was to dry and empty so they soon added a pianist to the set. Within weeks of there formation, they finished recording there first demo album Which consisted of 3 songs including a 20 minute song called The Witching Hour Junkie. This song best defines there unique sound so far. Reverb is currently an unsigned band but is hoping to get excepted under an indie label.
