I am a history buff. 55 years old. I live in Oklahoma City. I enjoy the WW2 Pacific wars and our Cold War. My father was in both of these. He was an early ECM officer and photomapping,photorecon. In WW2 he flew with the 5th AirForce/3rd Attack Group. They were called "The Grim Reapers". Pappy Gunn was from this group. An excellent engineer. He figured out how to put a bunch of machine guns in an A-20 and A-26. After the war dad stayed in and went into Strategic Reconnaissance and Photo Charting and Mapping. He began with RB-50's and then they got the RB-47's and at last they got the B-52's. I have had fun reading and learning all I can from the vets.
Additionally, I am learning more about the different ways to use alternate sources of electricity to actually get your house off the grid and still use youe air conditioning and dish washer.
