Very true. Very challenging. I am thankful for people like David Platt, Francis Chan and Victor Cuccia who are willing to challenge the church when others simply keep going through the motions. If you haven't read Crazy Love (Chan) and Steeple Envy (Cuccia), do yourself a favor and check them out!

I love this book! It challenges the church in so many ways. If you read this and liked it, you should also read Crazy Love by Francis Chan and Steeple Envy by Victor Cuccia. Be prepared to be challenged!

Good to be challenged in this way. In the book "Steeple Envy" Victor Cuccia points out how the American Dream has crept into the church. As he states "The American Dream is a lie and many people in other countries are living a nightmare as a result of it."

It's funny how the "church" today looks very little like the Church that we read about in the book of Acts and the rest of the N.T. It's great to hear messages like this and see books like "Radical" by David Platt and "Steeple Envy" by Vic Cuccia, challenging the church in a much needed way.
