Originally developed in conjunction with the National Science Foundation, Resodyn Acoustic Mixers is gaining national and international prominence in the world of batch-mixers. ResonantAcoustic® Mixing (RAM) technology functions by producing a low-frequency acoustic wave that propagates through the entire mix material causing both bulk flow and micro-scale mixing.

Operating at resonance, the system is able to achieve mechanically efficient and energy efficient mixing. As a result, RAM users have seen batch times reduced by over 85% and labor costs reduced by over 70% depending on the specific material being mixed.

For production environments, the most significant aspect of RAM technology may be the scalability of results. In other words, for those materials that have been tested mix times and results are consistent from laboratory to production scale mixing.

In addition to the sale and rental of Acoustic Mixers, Resodyn Acoustic Mixers offers a full service Acoustic Mixing Lab for toll mixing as well as supporting customer scale-up efforts and developing new formulations.
