We need to remember that the Democrat Party chooses a simple Majority Rule Democracy to exploit the minority.
Republicans choose a Constitutional Republic to protect everyone's rights, under the Bill of Rights, making everyone equal under the law.
Slavery is the purest form of democratic socialism.
Freedom is the result of Republican equality.
All of the Civil War Confederate rebels were Democrats. Jefferson Davis, Alexander Stephens, John Wilkes Booth and Nathan Bedford Forrest.
The Union was run by Republicans. Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S Grant, Charles Sumner and Thaddeus Stevens.
Bigotry hates a Republic because it protects minorities equally.

Democrats are those who want a government run by a majority of the people rather than by the law. This way 51 percent of the people can exploit the other 49 percent. That's how they managed slavery and that's how they want to manage the country.
Being southern does not make a person a bigot. But characterizing them as such is much like the character assassination against negroes that Democrats practiced when they held slaves. Are you guys ever going to change? No, a Democrat is a Democrat. Not that all Democrats are bigots, but all bigots will be Democratic.
Republicans want a government run by the law. The top ten, of course are the ten articles from the Bill of rights. The Republicans had to tack on a few more articles starting with the 13th amendment. I think we need to add a few more. If we can protect the freedom of a human being regardless of race, we should also protect the life of an unborn human regardless of anything. We also need an amendment against the government taking your health care. When they have that, they have you, like their own property. Property... that's what they used to call people before those darned Republicans came along!
Did you know that the Civil Rights Amendments were all passed after Abraham Lincoln had already been assassinated by a very famous Democrat actor from a family of Democrat actors who hated the first Republican President much the same way they still hate Republican Presidents today? John Wilkes Booth was officially the most attractive man in America according to the media at the time. The women would stare at him.
What is very interesting is the fact that Lincoln's Vice President in his second term was a Democrat who, to the surprise of the Republicans, was a White Supremacist. You know all about Andrew Johnson's impeachment.
Anyway, we still have a lot of southern bigots who want to control people in perverse tyrannical ways. Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, John Edwards etc. But bigotry does not confine itself to a geographic region. There's Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, Howard Dean and let's not forget President Obama.
So it was Democrats who supported segregation in the 1860's and the 1960's.
George Wallace, Bull Connor, Orval Faubus, Lester Maddox.
Did you know that the Civil Rights Bills from the 1950's through the 1970's were also Republican victories too? Ask Robert Byrd about his record filibuster with Albert Gore Sr. and William Fulbright. Byrd hasn't felt well since we got a black president. I remember him writing a letter not too long ago about not serving alongside a black man.
If there is "plenty of blame to go around", why is it all historically the Democrats? Because it is fundamental. Democracy or a Republic? I pledge to the flag and the Republic so that we have Liberty and Justice.
