The vids will keep coming, no worries! As the summer draws near and the lanes get more quiet for the summertime I hope to make them more often

I like this. Keep this great stuff coming. Brings back memories. I can smell the lane conditioner... Will always have a soft spot for Brunswick A and A2 machines. They are an integral part of the Americana...

They're back?! Nice! It's been over 2 months, I wasn't sure they'd ever return. This was the 3rd time they were down for a month +!

I average between 220 and 225 generally. Most of our motors down back are GE's but not all of them. The original A's did indeed have gravity returns. Boosters and accelerators were added later to coincide with the faster machine speeds (JetBack and A2) so the ball would be back at the proper time for the bowler

You must have a pretty high avg, Most of the time you bowl strikes, lol. I saw the ball accelerator in that pic you're right it does look a little bigger than 1/4hp. What brand 1hp motors do you have on your machines? Did you ever try putting a clamp on ammeter on the motor leads to see what the load is during various portions of the cycle? I know youre really 'interested' in the machines and just wondered if curiousity ever made u check it out. Of course you'd have to know the full load rating on the motor's nameplate, and what the voltage to the motor is (I'm assuming 208 volts). I wonder if the ball accelerator thingy was an afterthought and whether the orig a's just used gravity with no ball acc. What say you Rep?

Yeah, I'm sorry. Really been out of the gaming loop recently, been really busy with work. Winter is our busy time so things have been kinda crazy and gaming has been VERY minimal
