I try to be a friendly, honest, and caring person. Being a good father for my daughter is the most important thing in my life. I had a struggle with religion that lasted for over 15 years and caused me a great deal of pain. When I came out as an atheist a year ago at first I was consumed with anger. But that's no way to live. Now I'm trying to use my life experiences to help myself and others lead happier and more fulfilling lives. I choose to focus on the commonality in people first and believe that is key to establishing any good relationship based on respect. Because without respect you are not going to get anything productive accomplished. I hope to work with atheists and theists to promote a positive world view that focuses more on our humanity and similarities than our differences.

Christian, atheist, black, white, straight, or gay. It's so easy and natural to categorize people and draw conclusions about who they are by one category they fall into. We are all people first. People with the same capacity to hope, dream, love, and hate. The sooner we focus on our similarities, which far outnumber our differences, the better place this world will be.
