Welcome to my channel! On here in the coming weeks, I hope to upload a variety of videos, including some covers and some of my own.
If another guy appears with me, it is my buddy Ben. I love country music, and I think a lot of my music mirrors that interest. I'm
very easy going, and I'm told that I am quite funny, so I take it as it goes...But I definitely am the kind of person to feel
comfortable around.
I first seriously began playing music in 2003, although I have been playing guitar since the middle of 2001. When I attended Shippensburg
University, I played guitar with pretty much every free minute I had. I was always afraid to sing, but when I started to, I realized
that my voice wasn't all that bad. I was introduced to my all-time favorite band, Dispatch (www.dispatchmusic.com) in 2003, and they
have honestly become an inspiration for playing guitar. I truly enjoy it, and I cannot think of anything better than sitting
around a campfire strumming on the guitar.
I have played a variety of shows. My first show ever was in Heiges Field House on the campus of Shippensburg University in 2003.
I was approached by a sorority and asked to play guitar for their talent show songs. So I did. I was introduced over the speaker
system. I mic'd my guitar up (an old Silvertone), and began playing "The First Cut is the Deepest", by Cheryl Crow. The music
echoed, the palm mutes bassed through the building, and the crowd of 2000 clapped along with my beat. It truly inspired me to
keep on playing.
Having graduated college, I still play music. My song "Alone" will be uploaded here in the coming weeks (as soon as I get my webcam
working), and will also appear on the album "Chill Out: East Coast Edition" in mid-2008. I play a Takamine EF341C acoustic-electric guitar.
I love almost all types of music.
One thing I will say: I don't have the best voice, and I don't have the worst. I think most of my singing sounds pretty good.
But one thing I absolutely love to do is to jam out with my friends, especially Ben, mentioned above. He will probably appear
in a lot of my videos, as his backup makes for a totally awesome jam sesh. That is one thing I hope you realize about my covers.
Although I keep them in touch with the original to show respect to the artist, I am not afraid to make a song my own, and I hope you
