As the leader of Rediam, Jeremy Ray Borders, made his TV debut at the young age of 10 for the piano. He continued thereafter winning 1st or 2nd place until the age of 18, which continued to open the doors to more TV performances, prizes, scholarships & concerts around the US. The SCGS for the Arts & Humanities was his home for 2 years on full scholarship where he studied with world renown pianists Sasha Starcevich & James Lent. Next, it was the Moores School of Music at University of Houston where he studied composition on scholarship with world renown composer Dr. Michael Horvit & piano with prized pianist Nancy Weems. While obtaining world renown schooling, Jeremy started his own production company which led to open doors for singing, acting, writing, composing, directing, photography & video production. In 2007 he co-wrote a Broadway-style production at The Nathaniel Center of Houston where he had the lead role & wrote the full musical score (was scheduled to air on Houston TV). In 2008 Jeremy won 1st place in Monologue & top place in Singing at the IMTA NYC Competition, while being scouted by agents from NYC, LA, Paris, & Athens, Greece.
Currently Jeremy is signed on with top agency MoonStar Management for acting/singing/modeling, scouts talent for MoonStar & has appeared on shows & film as Ugly Betty, The Beautiful Life, Law & Order, Step Up 3, Just Wright, Wallstreet, The New Yorker & more. He is the Accompanist in Residence with The Madison St. Clair Young Artist Concert Series as a solo artist for a national tour with www.madsaint.org.
Jeremy Ray's newest successes include touring as a featured soloist with internationally acclaimed group, The Upton Trio; who signed with Albany Records in 2009. In 2009 Jeremy won the American Protege Piano Competition & the American Protege Russian Music Festival in NYC, winning performances at Carnegie Hall & Merkin Hall, as well as booking a national singing TV show with World Idols Inc. As of 2010 Jeremy Ray signed a major record deal with SLR Records, through legendary, 2-Time Grammy winning LaSalle Gabriel as the president/producer, & will be featured on a star-studded CD forthcoming that will be in all Walmart & Best Buy stores nation-wide.
