We're going around and around, always over and over, up and down, rhythmically experiencing and searching for new cycles in which to oscillate. Give and take, current and force, speed and pressure, pleasure and pain. virtued and viced, righteous and damned, moving our way through the centerpoint to what is developing in our minds . . . .
My earthly desires are few but very intense. These earthly desires are here in my mind for now, but will never crowd out my love for the risen Lord, Jesus Christ. I repent of my sinful thoughts, recognize them as those things to which a righteous person is opposed, seek forgiveness for them, and always praise God for the price he paid for our salvation. We were made by Him and bought by Him, so we are twice His children.
My path to heaven will require fighting through the filter of temptation which is constantly pushing us toward death, both spiritual and physical.
