The Real Truth About Islam

This channel is related to spreading the real truth about Islam and is intended for both Muslims and non-Muslims. It is intended to be as fascinating, illuminating and informative as possible, instilling a thirst for knowledge. So please turn to this channel and subscribe to it. Our aim is to elucidate the real teachings of Islam to Non-Muslims and to dispel the various myths, stereotypes and misconceptions currently in circulation with regards to the religion of Islam, untruths such as terrorism and suicide bombings being sanctioned by the Quran or that Islam oppresses women.

Moreover, Non-Muslims should not blindly follow and accept the various misinformation and lies promulgated by the media (who are after ratings and profits), shoddy journalists, 'experts' or the ignorant ones. Rather, Non-Muslims should read as much of the Quran and hadith books (such as Sahih Bukhari & Sahih Muslim) for themselves, not just a few select verses or hadiths which support one's preconceived machinations and viewpoints. Sincerely read for yourself with an open mind and make up your own mind with an informed judgement. That's all we ask.

Our call for Muslims is as follows:

1) Correct our aqeedah by learning the most important aspects of the Deen (religion of Islam) first like Tawheed, Shirk, pillars of Eemaan, the Sunnah (and its opposite, bidah, in order to avoid falling into it) etc. and not to be too engrossed in politics or public affairs, which in reality do not overly concern the believer.

2) Follow the Quran and the Sunnah upon the understanding of the Salafus-Salih (righteous predecessors, first 3 generations of Muslims). Also, to rebuke those who revile the Sahaba (companions of the Messenger Muhammad) as they were the best generation of Muslims, who witnessed the actions and sayings of the Messenger and supported him wholeheartedly, in his mission, even through adversity and tribulations.

3) Respect and take knowledge from the true scholars of the past and our times such as Shaikh Ibn Taymiyyah, Ibn Qayyim, Muhammad Ibn Abdul-Wahhab, Al-Albani, Ibn Baaz, Al-Uthaimeen, Rabee, etc. For verily, the scholars are the inheritors of the Prophets, and whoever belittles, mocks, reviles, or displays enmity (whether openly or by way of deception) to the likes of these scholars is misguided and astray.
And know that Allah is well aware of what is in your heart.

4) Warn against bidah (innovations in the religion) and the people calling to bidah for verily every innovation (in the religion) is a misguidance and every misguidance is in the Hellfire. And know for surety that bidah is a cause of division, differences, disunity and splitting.

In the avoidance and shunning of every bidah, no matter even if people think they are doing good and / or seeking nearness to Allah, in this is unity upon the Sunnah, enhancing the ranks of the Muslims and the betterment and rectification of the Ummah.

5) Unite upon enjoining the good (best of which is Tawheed) and forbidding the evil (worst of which is Shirk), in particular to exhort to the understanding of Tawheed al-Uloohiyah and forbidding grave worshipping and calling upon other than Allah such as saints and pious men, which incurs the wrath and punishment of Allah.

And know that no one whatsoever, whether he be considered to be an imaam, sheikh or awliyaa should be elevated to the level of the Prophets or believed to be infallible, for the Prophets were the most honourable, praiseworthy and upright believers, who faced innumerable trials and hardships. If we are not allowed to use the Prophets as intercessors then how can we use those lesser than them!
It is only Allah (Alone) who has the right to be worshipped, and this was the purpose of the sending of the Messengers throughout the ages.

6) Understand the Names and Attributes of Allah upon their apparent meanings without asking how (takyeef) and not to make ta'weel (metaphorical interpretation), ta'teel (negation), tamtheel (resemblance) or tahreef (distortion).

This is an important and comprehensive aspect of Tawheed which the muslim should acquire knowledge of, in order to learn about his Lord whom he worships. The incorrect understanding of the Names and Attributes of Allah led to the emergence of deviant sects in the past, whose beliefs are still co-existent in some of the groups and parties of today.

7) Be steadfast upon Sabr (patience) and to hear and obey the ruler even if he be an Abyssinian slave, whilst abandoning the call for revolutions, Jihad or acts of terrorism for overthrowing states or toppling leaders which in reality achieve nothing but mischief and bloodshed.
