At school he was a member of Folclor Band, as an instrumentalist at clarinet, managed by the bandmasters Mr.Coman and Mr.Tornea from Children's Palace. * With the same band he goes in countries as France and Syria where he participate at Folklore Festival and where he obtains various prizes. * During Univeristy and after this period he collaborates with a famous romanian band "Dan Armeanca Band", participating at events in the country and abroad. * In 2005 he signs a contract in Lebanon(Liban)- Beirut with the impresario Michel Elefteriades, impresario which represents the greatest soloists and instrumentalists from this area.During this contract he sings beside the most renowned artists as: DEMIS ROUSSOS HOSE FERNANDEZ TONI HANA NANCY AJRAM SESE BROTHERS * Also in 2005 he is invited at WOMEX World Music BBC , where he perform with SESE BROTHERS and IVO PAPASOV the biggest clarinetist of the world. * In 2006 he returns in the country and he creates Relu Balkan and Band. * In 2006 is invited at ULM Festival in Germany through Department of Culture of Romania and at the recommendation of Mr.Doru Tufis.

Besides being a musician, i am also a composer and lyricist. Relu Balkan undertakes the style called Folclor Balkanic. At present he is working at his first album -Relu Balkan- that will be brought out in this summer and that is going to be preceded by a tour in country and abroad. Besides singing, I like to travel,to swimm,to read and spending time with my friends.
