Actually, it's clearly a backdraft. The dark black turbulent smoke and "breathing" that the fire is doing are all telltale signs. It's obvious by looking at it that this fire was starved for oxygen, then when the firefighter puts water on it some of the smoke turns white which indicates water c...

Brush creek is a CL4 in California, it flows into the kern river and can be run at veeery low flows by all different classes of boaters. It does run at high levels on occasion and Then becomes expert only CL5.
