I am Ryan Cahill, a passionate, energetic and proficient Producer Director Photographer Editor. Following my training at Full Sail University I set off toNew Jersey where I first interned then freelanced for NFL Films. While at Films I had the distinct opportunity to work and study with the worlds most superlative cinematographers. While there I gained vast knowledge in the art of capturing an image through a lens, whether it is a football game or press conference. I decided to expand my career and relocated back home to Rochester N.Y., where I began to freelance and work on my own projects. In June 2007 I transitioned into the world of broadcast news, WROC-TV is where I shaped my skills as a photojournalist/editor while covering such events as the Governor Eliot Spitzer Sex Scandal to the crash of Flight 3407. The fast pace environment of the news profession has allowed me to broaden my skills as a person and as a photographer/editor. I have exceptional people skills and excel when given new challenges to overcome. I am remarkably experienced in Final Cut Pro and Microsoft Office, also I have a keen eye for detail. I am a huge believer of positive, challenging and truthful media that sparks something inside people to get inspired and become proactive on social issues on a large scale. In this day in age one must boast passion, professionalism and pure talent to become and remain successful. I presume to retain all of these skills.
