This channel primarily is my attempt at bringing my poetry to life! All poems on this page have been copyrighted and/or published.
About Me:
I am using this site as a way to try to reach and possibly help encourage and relate with others going through similar things I have faced in the past and present. I also am posting a lot of both old and new poems. I can only hope that some of these videos may comfort your heart, in that, you are not and never will be truly alone despite the feelings you may have of loneliness! I am a friend to all those friendly!
So.. About me...Where do I start? My name is Alyssa Rose. I'm 27 years old. I was born and raised in NorthEast Ohio until the age of sixteen, then moving to Indiana.I have an awesome adopted father who is only a few hours away from me! He is supportive and loving and always there for me if I need him in one way or another! I graduated High School in 2001 and then graduated College with my Associates of Science in Human Services/Psychology. I am now back at College working on my Bachelors of Arts in Psychology, with a minor in Religious Studies, and a minor in Human Services, and then off to Doctorate School:) To date my transcript looks really pretty with all A's and B's! WTG me LOL ... but it might change here really soon! I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa, International Honor Society. I spend most of my time writing poetry and stuff, exercising, studying, and about to see what dorm life is like! LOL I love to sing, although I could probably cause some deafness LOL. It's just a big stress reliever. I'm sort of a night owl, but trying to get on a better swing of things. I have 2 cats Diamond and Myah. They are adorable and loving and very very smart! I love to travel and have a few places in the world that I intend to go one day. A few of the places I have been (mostly local) Ohio, Indiana, California, North Carolina, South Carolina, New York, Illinois, West Virgina, Virginia, Tennessee, Michgan, Kentucky, Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Ireland. I love to play card games, Sketch, gymnastics, dancing, play volleyball, shoot pool, bowl, swim, and run! My favorite music is really anything that the lyrics somehow apply to me!! My favorite food would probably be a toss up between french toast and lasagna, my least being sushi I guess. (YACK) I have been told that I am caring, compassionate, generous, giving, loving, considerate, humorous, helpful, wise, intelligent, nonjudgemental, and fun to be around!(I wasn't always like this, I of course have had a LOT of growing up to do) Uhm...any more questions just ask and I might answer! :-P
