@theace Well, it has been more than 5 years since I've gone through the NPE, so my recollection of it can't be perfect. All I remember is that the veterans in the FNA chat taught me so much more than the tutorial did.

@nolekulikali That's the point: it shouldn't. Clearly this dude hasn't trained his support skills for beans, just got enough to fly a Mega with t2 MFS'. No other t2 equipment. I'd love to see his PvE death history.

@MrJivePirate Pretty much an update to the venerable non-LED searchlight. I'd expect it on choppers, guard posts, possibly boats if it's safe for the wet environment. There's no reason a civilian should have this thing, unless you're a collector with way too much disposable income.

This bloody thing plays at work a lot, but compressed so it's hard to understand, been driving me nuts. Picked my dad's brain and he was able to ID the song, now I can actually follow it when it plays at work.

I kept hoping someone in the audience would point out the current factor before he mentioned it. IIRC ~80mA is the point where things get dicey.

@CrazytheSecond It's not so much that he needs collision insurance on the car he doesn't have, as he needs liability insurance for all the accidents he's likely to cause speeding down the highway.

Love how the camera automatically throttles back the light amp on the Polarion and the image stops being jerky. Also, the beam shape is much more obvious when you're walking around away from the camera than it is when you're right in front of it. Might be a good idea to show that more in future c...

@jessdaman08 The part of me that watches these for reasons other than the fan art fervently hopes you are wrong about the 'm' word.

It isn't even shoplifting until the product has left the building unpaid for. At most he should have been flagged for a thorough search as he left.

@starbringer2012 Realistically, engine trails are going to be as long as stellar wind will allow for, so long as they're comprised of actual matter (such as vented drive plasma).

@thetiktokman There's a lot of good sci-fi that ignores a few basic laws of physics, but I suppose there's no harm in swapping the terms fiction and fantasy in this use.

Wait, did that guy with the strong accent say something about warfare link skills? No! I dumped ~17 mil SP into a character to make her a master of fleet warfare boosting. I don't want to have to train any more!

@xxBlackpspxx She's a little soft around the middle (and in other key places) which is not terribly surprising, given certain comments in Showcases which hint at a propensity for junk food consumption. This is also not a bad thing.

I find this way more amusing than I should...
