About Me:

I am an aspiring writer/director/producer. I am currently shooting and editing a documentary feature on the Shoreham Nuclear Power Facility
Country:
United States
Hobbies:
Movies, Music (mainly Metal), Reading, Watching TV (mainly Comedy Central and Adult Swim), and playing video games.
Movies:
My favorite directors include the well known classic directors such as Orson Welles and Stanley Kubrick, to the lesser known like Kenneth Anger. My favorite modern directors include David Fincher and Takashi Miike. I am also a huge fan of Japanese cinema; Yasujiro Ozu, classic samurai pictures like Hara Kiri or Sword of Doom, a select amount of anime and the aforementioned Takashi Miike
Music:
I listen to mainly Heavy Metal. I began listening to a lot of nu-metal and industrial bands. Many of them I still listen to today, like Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Korn, The Deftones, Tool, Ministry, and System of a Down. That inspired me to investigate classic metal bands like Black Sabbath, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Deep Purple, Queensryche and Motorhead. My Best Friend Ed (Metalhead Ed as I refer to him) lent me his collection of Metallica, Slayer, King Diamond, Nevermore, Pantera, and Iced Earth. I attempt to branch out to other genres of music. I've got the necessary greats, a little Miles Davis, and a little of the Beatles. I've got a good amount of classic rock including Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, and Rush.
Books:
The Great Movies by Roger Ebert, The Science of Good and Evil by Micheal Shermer, God is Not Great by Christopher Hitchens, The Power to Save the world by Gweneth Cravens, The Trial by Franz Kafka and On 'The Wealth of Nations' by P.J. O'Rourk (Because I am never going to finish Adam Smith's actual body of work).

hey RaySquirrel, i saw your comment on this health care channel- "I find it humors how people have argue their points with an almost religious fervor. Both systems have their strong and weak points. What I know is that I would like health insurance and health care to remain private. Though in order to provide people with the services that they need some generous contributions from public funds to hospitals and health may be required."

unfortunately many people view issues in America today through black and white glasses. good to know there are people who view both sides of the coin

haha, keep me posted dude - its hard to find a good cover band that isnt a bunch of stupid highschool students in a garage playing the whole song on one string, using a $6 snare drum, an untuned bass and a singer that makes the same sounds as tuburqulosis patients...
