Why did I make this Youtube Page?
I wanted fans in the NBA, and people that have loved the Seattle Supersonics franchise to meet. I am planning to make this a channel, where all fans can meet up, talk, and discuss about the NBA, and I will sure be a part of it.
I remember cruising around the coast of Seattle. While everybody on the ship was marveling at the Space Needle and quickly taking as many pictures, I focused on bright red letters. Slowly the letters appeared Key...A...re....na. That was such a great moment. The bright letters lit up that gloomy Seattle morning. At that moment, I sighed knowing that the Seattle SuperSonics would not play one more minute in that building.
Seattle always had the rich history and a great generation of NBA players. Starting from Sikma, and moving on to Payton/Kemp. Then Allen/Lewis. Sure it isn't as successful of the Celtics or the Lakers, but it sure has dedicated fans, at least in my views. I feel that true fans are the fans that stick by the team during the ups and downs and that defines Seattle to me.
