Barry Manilow? You're kidding? Did he ever rock (as Eric did with The Raspberries) with Go All The Way, Tonight and so on. Get a grip. Barry was schlock. This song was done in the Manilow style to make some bucks. But LISTEN THE RASPBERRIES. Eric was brilliant.

Strangely brilliant?? Not strange at all. Listen to The Raspberries LP's. They're sort of a lost 1964 Beatles mixed with Power Pop to come. BRILLIANT. Maybe we'll all come to realize the gems they've left us. By the way, I'm a punk rocker.
