You probably wouldn't believe me even if I told you (though it is pure truth)...and besides, giving away everything about yourself up-front? Where's the fun in that? You have to keep a few things enigmatic. :)

Well, "interests" might be a little lacking in depth of impact for some, most notably when they are a profession, lifestyle or lifelong pursuit of study and practice. My guitars..performing live onstage and writing music with them...I love to create, the best feeling ever, along with the roar of loud guitars! Music has had a dramatic effect on who and what I am since the time of my first memories. Far too much to convey the how, why, and what of music's meaning to me within the frame of these few spaces. Harley Davidson motorcycles....I've had five of them now, and owned one long before they became the "must have" status symbol for those seeking instant "Bad-Boy Cool"...the posers, flavor-of-the-month trend-hoppers and weekend hard guy wannabes, who basically use the bike as a prop to try and change their image and invent a new identity.... sigh....dorks. My dedication and ownership goes back 30+ years, to a time I was a young boy....and has stayed with me since. I do love my bikes! I'm also completely enamored with cinema, acting and the entire film-making process. A very large part of my life has involved movies and study of all the associated aspects of their production, from acting techniques to special effects and post production sound editing. Since I was four, movies have held deep fascination for me, some films having such a tremendous influence on me growing up that it endures to this very day. Aye, music and film, It was not accident but fate I came to reside in LA, the entertainment capital of the world. History and Archeology have been a passionate lifelong study and eternal source of curiosity, wisdom and amazement to me...I just cannot seem to ever learn enough or know enough about the past.... the people, places, writings and events that forged the course of civilization. I devour all manner of books and literature....I have a pretty extensive library accumulated now, and I still always have a book of some sort in process nearby. I have a very strong affection for fast cars, do I ever!! This is especially true regarding Ferraris and pre-1973 American muscle cars. I really enjoy firearms, marine (saltwater) fish tanks, I'm obsessed with travel, specifically to historic places (foreign, not so much domestic). A keen interest in the study of all things paranormal (hey, Rod Serling, Darren McGavin and especially Hammer Films left a huge impression on me as a kid!) The Montreal Canadiens hockey team (Go Habs!!), and hey, if drinking Absinthe counts as an interest, I do enjoy that every so often! Ah yes, my beloved Absinthe, my only weakness.... well .... there is that hot girl thing too .....oops! I meant to think that last one, not write it! D'oh!!

Yeah, this section is pending, I'm going to need some time for this list....it will be a long one. However, if you click 'Playlists' at the top of this page and look at what's there, you may get some idea of a few. Until I have time to compile that Tolstoy or Michener length op-ed piece, I will leave you with one of my favorite movie quotes: "Barney Rubble, what an actor!!"

Lovecraft, Dean Koontz, James Herbert, Robert E. Howard..... several Alexander the Great (my hero since age 5, religiously so), Charlemagne and Peter I of Russia bios, Xenophon's Cyrus the Great, The Dirt by Motley Crue (the standard by which all rock bios should be measured. Even if you're not a fan, or even hate them it's still a must-read), Satan Speaks! by Anton LaVey, The Bible and Apocrypha. This is but a small sampling of my favored books and authors, there are numerous historical figure, film and music celebrity bios, historical event accounts, and many, many other talented authors and their works...I'm a voracious reader, so this list could go on for quite a while if not summed up.
