Lets clear up a couple of myths. 1. The Taliban are not a homogynous group sharing one clear ideology. 2. The Taliban did not stop opium production they just paused it to inflate prices 3. In a lot of the country they are no longer religious idealists, they are simply drug smuggling gangsters.
