I consider 'good' as actions which are beneficial to well being and 'bad' as actions which are harmful the well being.
The Euthyphro dilemma highlights the flaw in the argument that good and bad are somehow based upon what god wants or are somehow god given.

The speaker assumes the existence of a god and assumes the existence of the soul. These are just assumptions. He provides no evidence for the existence of these things. He also uses the watchmaker argument which is flawed.

@thatoneauburngirl It's great that you're happy but don't you care about whether what you believe is true? The bible makes all kinds of extraordinary claims such as the existence of god, angels, heaven, hell, satan, souls, miracles etc without a shred of evidence to back these things up.

I agree that we should try to be polite when talking to theists however ridiculous beliefs should be ridiculed. Whether or not the ridicule should be polite depends entirely on the belief, the believer and the situation. Every conversation is different.
