if everyone is wondering what happens after the tournament, read the manga. For some reason, they don't put the tendu jigoku saga into the anime. It shows the last two (and strongest Jyushinshu) in the manga and Koran's real demise as Nobuyuki Anzai (the artist of flame of recca) intended it.
