This video is the first of many to come. I am a HUGE Pokémon Mystery Dungeon fan, especially of the music in the series, so I decided to arrange "I Don't Want to Say Goodbye" from PMD 2 for solo piano *sniff*.
Here is the piano sheet music:

I happened to be surfing around on a Japanese photo website (pixiv) when I stumbled across several masterfully crafted portrayals of would-be scenes from Pokémon Mystery Dungeon 2, and I felt inspired to share these pieces of art since they are very inaccessible to the average web surfer.
I find it so amazing how you can tell so much with just a few pictures (I need not quote the old proverb). I also really enjoyed how someone - this artist - finally explored the idea of the player's former humanity, which is for the most part ignored for the majority of the PMD 2 plot, which bothers me since the major driving plot point of PMD 1 was discovering the player's humanity and purpose as a Pokémon.
The following is my interpretation of the pictures in the video:
(1.) The first is actually not part of the series of pictures I found, and is done by a different artist. It serves in the video as an introduction to the PMD series as a whole, both 1 and 2.
(2.) Grovyle as-a-Treecko probably barely escaped from his home village, now ablaze in flames (I'm guessing that's what the red lights are).
(3.) He's sleeping.
(4.) The player befriends this orphaned Treecko, quickly becoming friends.
(5.) This picture is VERY interesting. Here we see the player teaching Treecko about a world with a sunrise, a world with happiness, and instilling the desire to destroy the darkness that is their world. Also interesting is the Unown script on the pages of the history book =3
(6.) This picture is just so kick-butt. I love the action and intensity of it. And is that me round-house kicking a Sableye? AWESOME.
(7.) I imagine the player is confessing to Grovyle that if they change the future, they won't exist anymore.
(8.) This picture is so emotional...little do the player and Grovyle know that their passage through the Passage of Time will separate them forever (until re-united unknowningly later in the game).
(9.) The outreached hands just tear me to bits. I near to bursting now. The artist truly captured the sheer tragedy of this moment.
(10.) And here we have a triumphant panorama of the previous pictures centered upon one glowing Grovyle, determined to re-unite with the player and carry out the mission to change the future. _____________________________________________________________
