Like I said, that heavily depends on how you define God. Some people dismiss God, see God as improbable all based on the view that a lot of what goes on nature, or perhaps even nature itself is explained by science. So we speak about God as the source of nature, and exactly that picture is dismissed.
For me personally, God is just a concept. God is not improbable for me Per se, but what I miss is a definition about the definition of God.

Really? The properties of God are defined.. I found that hard to believe. One of the properties of God should be infinite good, perhaps even goodness himself. Now what is good exactly if that God does deeds which are seen are purely evil? So i do not think for a second that all of those properties are logical conclusions, but rather projections of how most theists want to see God.

God, as the religious have defined it, is one God who made it all, life, earth, water etc. And as such, that god is responsible for floods, cancer, birth defects, etc. That God is at least partly responsible for mankind bad deeds like murder. Now before anyone says: "free will!" Free will is not an unlimited set of options, and our choices our heavily influenced by human nature. And that nature is given by God.
So by definition, a monotheistic God isn't worth worship imo.

Well, if God is real, he is by definition responsible for the design of human nature, human thoughts, human actions, and things like cancer, birth defects, floods, etc. Sorry to say to so, but it seems like theists boiled God down to a version that can only be seen as good.
And that has nothing to do with the nature of an all powerful being. It is transforming God into a tool, a tool that is used to keep religion alive.

Come on folks! He doesn't deserve to be burnt down. He is not saying that these girls did not suffer.
What he does wrong is saying that we need extremely bad things like what happened to those women in order to realize how bad such actions are. He should have stated that differently. But he has a point if he says that we are learning, we have to. Years ago someone reported a scream coming form the house where the women were locked up. No one was home, so the police left Lets hope that changes

part 2. That sounds nihilistic to me. "There are only consequences". In order to coop with these consequences we have feelings. We cry and have pain when a loved one dies. We experience this loss as bad, without having a choice in this. Our life, our feelings give good and bad a meaning.
And about prayer.. in the mind of the religious payer will work. no matter the outcome. It is a condition for the religion to survive. And as such, it says nothing about the existence of God or miracles.

Very good. I'm impressed.

Good video. You wont sway those who say that atheism is a religion I'm afraid. They aren't interested in finding the best arguments and to come to a conclusion based on those arguments, Their agenda is to break down atheism into something they can understand, and make it less threatening. Their main goal seems to be to diminish atheism. By stating atheism is a religion, theists show what they fear most: that it is possible to come to a disbelief in God based on arguments, based on thinking.

Satan.. as soon as they ( those conservatives) start to talk about Satan, we know one thing for sure: they do not have any argument.

I wonder what kind of deep feeling it is, which we saw at this church. Mass hypnosis? it most certainly is amplified by this group process we saw in that church.

The fear factor.. if we allow gay marriage.. we have to allow.. blah blah. Dear Christians, where is your proof?

How low can you go. Trying to picturize your opponent as unhappy, grumpy, moody etc.

Btw, the irony is that it is me who is thinking outside the box. I do not follow revelation, mankind has done that since ages. I came to my conclusions after a long period of reading and thinking about God, and I studied the behavior of the religious. .

I think that people thumb this video up to support RWW blog.

I'm an European, and I really like dislike Apple. I think you are overreacting a bit. Not all car journalists are as biased as Topgear. For instance, Mazda is really well liked in the press, Toyota is renowned for its reliability, etc. And Cadillac, to name something non Asian, is well liked to.
For more exclusive cars, style and finishing touch matter important. Most Asian cars lack just enough finishing touch and style, so its easier to like the European cars better.

The old choice argument. They will stick to it, no matter how ineffective these conversion therapies are, and no matter the danger. These therapies cause stress, are known for a high risk of depression, and some participants even become suicidal. The only real harvest of the ex gay industry is that it gave the intolerance against gays a boost and a hint of decency, a face.
The irony is that the right wing tries to solve a problem (gay is bad) with ex gay therapy, a problem created by itself

Well the thing is, Fischer isn't delusional. He is lying trough his teeth, and I see delusional not as lying. I can be totally sincere and delusional, but i can still tell the truth as I see. And deep down Fischer knows he is lying and blacklisting. .

Because he still condemns people? And sin is a judgement in itself.

part 2. It is like you still have a general idea in mind about what is ideal, and there is no room left for gays in that picture it seems. And this ideal, this theoretical situation, is a reason to keep gays from getting married? Pretty weak stand. And yes, many parents perform splendid jobs. But those parent doing splendid jobs are not only straight parents. cont part 3.

Homosexuality is not something that is impossible. It is not like evolution excludes homosexuality. But what is your point? You are clearly anti gay. Feel free to correct me of i'm wrong. So what is in it for you? Why are you anti gay?
And another question.. are you here to make smart looking remarks or here to debate? If it is the latter, please post some arguments. If it the first, I'll go talk to someone else.
