damn man that sucks i had an elantra too it. It was a 2001 with 130,000 miles it was running good even tough the transmission was slipping. it had other problems too first one was the cv joint i fixed one and the other was messed up too next my fans shorted and it overheated my car and it messed up my water pump and that black cover that goes on th radiator. it was like close to 230 dollar repair.
and now the head gaskets messed up which makes the car overheat and cause pressure build up in the radiator
and thats like a 500 dollar repair so i finally decide to sell it for 1,000 dollars. but i didn't like that car it was a fun car to drive i would drift it in turns when the roads were all wet or i would take it to a field and just tail slide it haha. i did fix it up in the inside a bit i put limo tint in the back a couple of speakers and a cd/mp3 player with a usb port. i put that in myself its hard to wire these hyundais so manny wires its better if you do it professionally
