i didn't exactly say she should get a free pass so to speak i just said that others do similar things and get praised. she is not trying to copy anyone but it sounds though she uses similar styles maybe she likes the music and so it shows in her writing

well the good news is that if glee keeps using music like this the newer generation may actually know a form of the great music from the past. unfortunately i'm 22 and have never heard this song in it's original form but am excited to do so now.

etta is pure talent that in this day and age can not be matched, she is amazing no matter what song she is doing. she is an icon and someone that should be recognized today
