There is a question that has been asked time and time again, would you die for freedom? I think that it is quite stupid. Of course you don't want to die. It kind of defeats the purpose. Therefore the question should be whether you would kill for freedom. When asked this it becomes apparent that you have a moral obligation to seek other means before the use of force. A truly wise person resolves their conflicts peacefully in service to their spirit.
This nation's greatest asset is its freedom and our wealth was a consequence of that freedom. Our present peril is in forsaking this belief in freedom for a misplaced belief in the state. Furthermore, there can be no person of greater or lesser quality or condition before God. For God is spirit and in the spirit we worship through faith and action. If the use of force is an act in service against our interests we refuse to be a party to it. The use of torture can only be a crime against humanity whose goal is terror. This is true of the war on terror, drugs, poverty, crime and so on. May all your acts serve toward a continuing revelation of what you were born to be, free and independent. True freedom can only be achieved though free markets so it is high time we cleanse the market of its sins against the spirit. I like to say that Idealists are martyred on the alter of vanity, whereas Pragmatists are reconciled in the knowledge of their utility. We have an opportunity to lead this nation once again through faith and action.
