About this user

The beginning of my journey through the music world started when I was five years old, with the first piano lessons. During six years I took all the exams required on the Santa Cecilia Conservatory obtaining the highest grades in all of them. Later, after my eleventh birthday I quited the classical studies and I added the guitar into my practice time. First I took clases with Javier Mendizábal (La Dama) besides, being himself a piano and guitar player, kept my training as a pianist but oriented to the popular music.
A few yeas later I decided to incline my practicing to the world of the virtuoso guitar players. So I left the particular lessons with Mendizabal and y kept studying by myself with methods, master classes and instructional videos. On this stage, that coincides with the end of my high school studies, I took guitar lessons with: Daniel Telis (Kamikaze, Adrián Barilari), Ricardo Lew (Gato Barbieri, Jorge Navarro, Mercedes Sosa, Ruben Rada, La Banda Elástica, Quinteto Fernando Suárez Paz,), Pablo Soler (Humanimal, Beto Vazquez Infinity), Agustín Pinto (Presto Vivace).
After this upgrade of techniques with those four teachers I entered to the university (Universidad Nacional de Quilmes) to study Composition with Electronic Media. During this stage I kept studying the instruments by myself and also took particular lessons of harmony, counterpoint and musical analysis with Gustavo Mirabile; the relation between philosophy and avant-garde/experimental music with Norberto Cambiasso; and reinforcing the ear training with María del Cármen Aguilar.
In between the studies I had many experiences playing with many groups and soloists. I've played the keyboards in the band of the guitar player Carina Aflie, the melodic singer Nico Favio, I toured with the rock band Sancamaleón, and played also in the solo project of the guitar player Christian Vidal (Cuero). Now a days I play the piano in the Chicago Big Band and Nouvelle-Orléans Dixieland Band.
My work as a music teacher begun in the year 2000. Since then I've taught in the C.E.M institute (Centro de Estudios Musicales); I.A.D.A institute (Instituto Argentino de Danzas Arabes) and as a substitute teacher at ITMC (Instituto Tecnológico de Música Contemporánea) in charge of the subjects Improvisation I and Chord Melody. Up to date I work in the site www.guitarmasterclass.net.
