Given the nswer. Wrong solution, statistics shows Tamils are living peacefully and in harmony with others in Colombo district, actually the population is above the average of the country. Conclusion, a genocide is not happening. So a separate state is not required.

No where in Sri Lanka, the population has decreased, according to the census collected in 2001, except for Jafna district. That is a decline of 2% when compared to 1981. I hope you will understand the simple logic of people moving away from an area where there is a war.
