RAISE THE TITANIC and other TITANIC related films & documentaries.

Hello everyone and welcome to the YouTube RAISE THE TITANIC movie channel. I am a Titanic researcher & historian here in the United Kingdom. I am one of the trustee's to the long established Titanic research site TRMA (Titanic Research & Modelling Association). The site is dedicated to not only detailed information on Titanic model building, but also techinical questions & answers on the ship herself.

I have set up this channel specially for those who have a firm interest, old and young alike in the 1980 Lew Grade ITC movie 'RAISE THE TITANIC'.

In 2007, I was approached to assist with the UK region 2 release of the film on the 'Network' dvd label. From my personal RAISE THE TITANIC collection, I supplied all the images that were used for the 'special features' section of the dvd, including many previously unpublished. I also wrote the inside dvd cover information on the movie model.

The purpose of this RAISE THE TITANIC channel is for those who, like myself, want to see images of the huge model built for the film, behind-the-scenes, props, scripts, publicity material, etc, etc. All of this material will eventually appear on my planned website (more details will follow shortly). I will also post up videos of the only accurate replica model of the Titanic as seen in the film, built by myself in 2002.

EDIT: I am hoping that people will not abuse my collection as I created these videos for the fans, by a fan. I do not want to have to remove the videos if images/stills are produced elsewhere without prior consent from myself. That purpose is not why I created these for people.
