My Lord's Assurance: the speck in mine eye!
There is a quiet happiness in me,
A peace, I pray, others will see,
In all that I do and say,
For I try my best, to follow His Way!
Should I, at times, His Name "misspeak,"
When confused and hurt, His name I blurt,
He Who knows all, and all He sees,
He KNOWS it is, His help I seek!
If to others "filth" it may appear,
The fake "self-righteous," who at me sneer,
While with their lips, a command they break,
At every possible turn they take.
The truth... never to be their own!
God's ninth command they surely disown!
To keep it "clean'" they say "JC,"
When pointing out my fault to me!
At "JC" He would be perplexed,
His name so beautiful to be thus vexed,
Jesus Christ!... Again,... I say out loud,
A Name, I know, of which He's proud!
So when you go, finding fault in me,
You should first clear the log I see,
Obscuring your vision, so big it is,
My speck to be, no impediment to me!

UPDATE as of June 25, 2009,
the day I realized the WHOLE TRUTH,
WHEN ALL THE PIECES OF THE PUZZLE FELL INTO PLACE, ALL AT ONCE, NOT A SINGLE QUESTION TO REMAIN:
At the time I wrote the above poem, I had no idea the extent to which I had been fooled by the man to whom I was engaged, just long enough to suit him, for, the minute he left my house, he no longer had any more use for me!! The pretense was over!! He had done no more than act while here, for, never again, did I see that same person! Never again was our relationship to be what it had been those 8 1/2 days! It had all been an act by him! That person I saw here then to never have existed!!
He had achieved that which he wanted, to write up an engagement announcement he could take the next day to his ex-wife Joanne, all the way to Arizona! This the "unfailing bargaining chip" he thought he held that would have her reconsider and fall back in his waiting arms, something for which he, as well as his daughter, Monika, prayed for years, some 16/17 years by that time! It seems both to be quite schizophrenic with their obsession!! Well, she, Monika, has proven that the apple does not fall far from the tree, for being just as fake as her father!!
ALAS, it did not work! Joanne already knows him for the scum he proved to be with this his calculating and conniving plan!!
But, here it is that we were engaged,... something for which he had not planned!! He had thought to just write me off, a necessary casualty to the success of his aim!! He could no longer pretend to be that which he never was,... so things changed drastically between us, his demeanor to give a 180 degree turn, a change I could not understand, and which his "doting" family made sure would remain a puzzle for me!
To them all I became no more than "ROAD KILL!"
Thus it is that for 573 days I was fooled, until a comment Timmo left on a video, I found on this date, opened my eyes... wide!
It was all a charade, all of it scripted!
NOTHING HAD BEEN REAL!! NOT ONE THING!!
