About Me:
In March 2008 Raine released a 10 song dance/electronic CD 'Dance With Me' that she collaborated on with producer/songwriter Breo of God Complex (visit www.cdbaby.com/cd/raine to hear the songs). In 2004, Raine released her self titled Raine CD featuring songs she wrote herself or in collaboration with her friend Bruce Fields. This CD is available on itunes and other links listed on www.raine.ca
As a singer/performer, Raine enjoys performing her pop and dance/electronic songs. As a songwriter, Raine is always seeking opportunities to have her music published and recorded by other artists and therefore has written/co-written songs in the following genres: pop, R&B, country, dance/electronic, rock, and adult contemporary (song samplers of these various music genres you can hear on the player at www.myspace.com/rainesumner).
A refined vocal talent, Raine is a versatile and accomplished singer/songwriter with an eclectic mixture of dance pop songs, timeless ballads and mid-tempo catchy melodies. Born in England, she emigrated to Canada as a child and later commenced a music career that has brought her critical acclaim in magazines such as Billboard Magazine. A seasoned performer, Raine has toured extensively in Canada. Her music has received radio airplay in the United States, Canada and Europe and broadcast on television shows in Canada, Sweden, United Kingdom, and the United States including MTV's 'Cribs' and 'Becoming'Series.
